Notepad Chaos is a free Blogger template (free Blogspot template) in notebook style. Notepad Chaos is probably most suited to personal pages such as an online personal diary but could be used for any blog with a writing or communication theme. The template comes with 2 columns, a right sidebar, an in-built site search box, customized datestamp and a navigation menu.
The plain background of this free Blogger template and highly stylized header area is very striking against the white content area. A simple Blogger theme that is very appealing.

Hi Anonymous. To set up the date when you get the undefined message go to: Settings >> Formatting >> TimeStamp Format. Choose option 4 to display date and save.
ReplyDeleteHello, I have the blog template up and working, it's beautiful! However, I am not sure how to get the tabs of home, archives and about to work. Would you be able to give me some direction on that one?
ReplyDeleteThanks,
Hello Liz.
ReplyDeleteThere is a bit of set up to get Notepad Chaos up and running. You need to configure the date and the top navigation menu.
1. To set up the navigation menu:
Go to Layout > Edit HTML
Search for id=’menu-holder’ using CTRL+F3 search function
Add links to about, contact etc by changing the existing to your site specific links. For instance to set up home enter:
http://yourblogname.blogspot.com
for this blog I would enter: free-blogger-templates-blogspot instead of yourblogname
Save Changes
2. To Set Up the Date
Go to Settings > Formatting
Under Timestamp Format (4th heading down) use the drop down menu to choose the 4th date selection eg 'Monday, 22 March, 2010'
Save your changes
Good Luck!
